Hello, minna-san! This time I watched something slightly different. An anime called "Corpse Party: Tortured Souls"

Corpse Party: Tortured Souls is a 4-episode anime based on the manga which is based on the Corpse Party games. The first game was released in 1996, the second in 2008 being called "Corpse Party: blood covered" and the third, "Corpse Party: blood covered... Repeated Fear" was released in 2012, the same year as the manga. The anime was directed by Akira Iwanaga who also directed the popular shounen anime, Bleach and written by Shoichi Sato.

The nine friends doing the charm.
The story starts of with a group of highschoolers who stay late at school. A girl called Ayumi is telling a horror story about an elementary school called Heavenly Host Elementary School which appearently, used to be on the very spot their school is on. It was torn down due to a streak of unfurtunate happenings, namely- murder. The group perform a kind of charm which is supposed to keep them together forever. Soon after this, there is an earthquake and we see all the students fall down into darkness. Next thing we see is two of the girls, Naomi and Seiko wake up in a classroom looking nothing like their own. They have been brought to the Heavenly Host Elementary School!

CorpseParty.jpgThe anime has gorgeous animation and music which helps with the creepy feeling. I found the story amazing, unpredictable, and extremely creepy. The plot twists confused me, scared me and surprised me.
I love how the characters all react so realisticly, and differently. I also like how there was a little ecchi, but they didn't shove it in your face like in most ecchi animes. It got more realistic that way. They only showed exactly what would happen with real physics.
Also, I believe tis anime was created as a way of advertising for the games, and that was done extremely well, as what happens in the anime is completely different from the games.

WARNING: DO NOT WATCH THIS ANIME BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP!!

I give this anime a 8/10

Hello! Today's review is on Peach Girl!

Peach Girl is a really old anime all the way back from 2005! It's one of my favorite animes that ended before 2010. The manga was written in 1997 to 2003 so it feels really oldschool. The anime is made by Studio Comet which also did "School Rumble".

The story revolves around Momo, a normal highschool girl who has really tan skin because she used to be on the swimteam and tans easily. She has a crush on a guy named Touji, but heard from a friend that he wasn't interested in tan girls, so she quit the swimteam. Her fairskinned, darkhaired and beautiful "friend" Sae, wants everything Momo wants and tries to steal Touji as well. All the while there's another boy, Kairi, who is in love with Momo.

This is one of the best love triangles I have ever seen, and I found it completely inpredictable.
I can honestly say that Peach Girl has one of my most hated characters of all time in it, and if you've seen it, you KNOW who I'm talking about.
Who are You rooting for? Tell me in the comments

Honestly, I am disappointed in how bad I am at keeping promises! I'll try to post a little more this week since end-of-term exams are done today ;)
That's that, see ya! (^-^)/

The characters weren't the most original, but they were realistic and fit the story perfectly. Music was average, and the animation was, of course, not the best, considering how old it is, but I hope you can bear with that.

When it comes to dub or sub, I actually watched and enjoyed them both. Choose yourself based on your own preferance, but I'm just informing you that the dub isn't horrible like many others.

Overall, I give this anime a 8/10 (Yes, I started giving ranks!)

Hey! (I know I'm one day late. Sorry! You'll get two posts this week! Promise!)
So today I watched the first episode of an anime called "Saint young men" or "Saint Onii-san" made by A-1 pictures and written by the mangaka, Hikaru Nakamura. I'm here now to give you guys my first impression of the show!
Saint☆Onii-sanThis anime is about the holy gods, Jesus Christ and Gautama Buddha descending down form heaven to earth. I don't know why... (O.O) From what I can see, one episode basically consists of two short funny stories concerning the two gods.
I love the fact that the person who made this actually dared to do it. This is something I think we would never see in any western media becuase it would be seen as mocking religions, when it actually is just pure mindless fun. I wouldn't recommend this anime to anyone who is easily offended.
This anime refrences the history of the religions in very funny ways. The characters are both definetly different form what I pictured them, which adds to the humor.
The animation I'd say is normal, but with a  poor art-style. Nothing worth mentioning, really.
This anime is only TWO EPISODES (which is a shame :( ), so after what I've seen I feel like it's fine to recommend it to you.
The manga, however is still ongoing, so you can read it if you want more.
That's it for today, people! I promise to post again this week, since this here was a late one for last week! See ya! (^-^)/

Bakuman-p1.jpgHey guys! (^w^)/ Today's review is of Bakuman! :D

Bakuman is an anime and a manga written by Tsugumi Ohba and illustrated by Takeshi Obata. These two also made the sucsess of a manga called "Death Note". The Bakuman anime has three 25 episodes, the manga has 20 volumes and in 2015 there will be a live action movie written by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata and directed by Hitoshi One who also directed "Vampire Host" and "Be my baby"

Bakuman is a manga about a talented artist called Moritaka Mashiro who is in love with a girl in his class, Azuki Miho. A classmate called Akito Takagi tries to convince Mashiro to draw the art of a manga he will be writing. Mashiro refuses at first but accepts when he hears that Miho is aspiring to become a voice actress. As a slip of the tounge, Mashiro proposes to Miho saying that when their manga gets an anime, she can be the voice actress for the herione. It is revealed that Miho also had feelings for Mashiro, and she accepts his proposal, but with one catch: They can't meet each other until that time comes. From then, the story is a journey with Mashiro and Takagi to become number one.

This manga/anime shows very well how the manga industry works and how difficult it actually is. We don't really think about it a lot, but manga artists spend all their time on making us happy. For example, Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, sleeps three hours every day to please us!

I can't say the characters were very special or original, but I guess that's a part of it's charm. It's a story about two normal guys, so of course they wouldn't have the unique characters like in One Piece. That's how real people are! The characters with the most original and particular personalities are all side characters. The anime did a great job on making it realistic. The colorschemes weren't very special. The music was good, but there is nothing in particular about it that I remember, it was just about standard. Finally, I must mention the awesome humor that actually made me laugh out loud at times.
I think Bakuman is a really great anime/manga, and it's definetly recommended.

File:Kuragehime vol01 Cover.jpgIt's about time I write about a manga! (Though there is an anime too). So let's get started! (^w^)

Kuragehime (Also called Jellyfish Princess) is an anime and a manga about a girl named Tsukimi, who has an obsession for jellyfish, living with a small group of other female weirdos. One day she meets another girl with style and confidence. The girl helps her out, but follows Tsukimi home and stays there for a night. In the morning Tsukimi realizes that this fashionable woman was actually a boy!
The anime is really short, but the manga is still ongoing. I highly recommend reading the manga because of this, but watching the anime isn't a bad idea either. The anime just doesn't have anything about it which makes it easier to recommend than the manga. The music and color schemes were pretty ordinary and the only thing I liked more was probably the voice acting, but that was also not better than usual.
So far it is an awesome story about confidence and fashion and it has a ton of humor! The characters are original and fit well to the story.

That concludes it for this week! See ya! \(^-^)
